Made-to-measure awnings for shops, cafés, restaurants and hospitality venues across Kent
An awning is one of the simplest ways to make a business more inviting. It gives customers shelter from sun and light rain, creates a more welcoming frontage and makes outdoor seating comfortable for longer. At Hue House, we supply and fit made-to-measure commercial awnings for cafés, restaurants, hotels, shops, offices and venues.
Every commercial awning is specified to suit the building, its location and how exposed it is, so the finished system looks right and works reliably. We supply premium Weinor awnings and employ all our own fitters.
We are a family-run business with over 35 years of experience, working across Kent and beyond, from simple shopfront shading to large hospitality projects. Take a look at our recent installations.

For cafés, restaurants, hotels and venues, an awning turns an outdoor seating area into space you can use for more of the year. Add heaters or drop-down screens, or choose a pergola awning that stands on its own front posts, and that space can be used in cooler and wetter weather too.
At Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park, we installed three Weinor PergoTex II systems with drop-down Vertitex screens, heaters and glass sliding doors, so the club’s patio can be used all year round. The retractable roof opens and closes at the touch of a button or with a remote control.

Whether you need a single shopfront awning, new fabric for an existing awning or shading for a large terrace, we will recommend the right system for your building.
An awning works hard for a business, both as shelter for customers and as part of the shop front. These are the benefits our commercial clients value most.
A smart awning finishes your shop front and gives your premises a more inviting look from the street.
Give customers comfortable shade on sunny days, so outdoor tables can be used for longer.
Keep customers comfortable outside, and reduce glare on windows and seating areas.
Add heaters, drop-down screens or a pergola system to use outdoor space in cooler months.
Every awning is specified to suit your building, its location and how exposed it is.
If the frame and arms are in good condition, new fabric can cost much less than a new awning.
Tell us about your premises and what you would like the awning to do, and we will be in touch to arrange your free quote.

We fit awnings for cafés, restaurants, hotels, shops, offices and venues, from simple shopfront shading to larger projects like the three PergoTex II systems at Guards Polo Club.
In many cases, yes. If the frame and arms are still in good condition, we can fit new fabric to your existing awning, which can cost much less than a full replacement. At Hepburns we re-covered a traditional shop awning in Weinor fabric. Get in touch with the make and size of your awning and we will advise.
Commercial systems are priced to suit each project, depending on the size, type of awning and the options you choose. We give you a formal quotation after a free site survey.
The rules for commercial premises can be different from those for houses, so check with your local council or the Planning Portal before you go ahead. We are happy to advise.
Awnings are designed for sun shading and will shelter customers from light showers, but they should be retracted in strong wind or heavy rain. A wind sensor does this automatically. If you want cover you can use in most weather, a pergola awning is the better choice.
We work across Kent, including Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Maidstone, Canterbury and Westerham, as well as Orpington, Bromley and nearby areas. Get in touch to check we cover your location.
